Thinking and Believing

Life isn’t as hard as we make it out to be.

Where do I even start? Why should I write a blog? What in the world could I say that someone else hasn’t already stated? These are the things I was saying to myself, my endless mind chatter, trying to talk myself out of writing about my favorite topic, the subconscious mind. Then I would be amused realizing I was doing the thing people do when they think someone else has done or would be much better at the task they actually want to do. We usually can easily build someone else up, but when it comes to our own ambitions, we start to doubt. I’m here to tell you not to doubt. Just do whatever you feel you need to do. Be willing to suck at something new and become better.

I’ve been studying the subconscious mind since I discovered Bob Proctor in 2020. Bob lead me to Abraham Hicks. That knowledge led me to The Secret. Then I started reading books by Wallace D. Wattles, Florence Shinn, Thomas Troward, and Napoleon Hill to name a few. I started seeing a theme. They all say basically the same thing: We become what we think about and focus on.

I started looking back over my life and was astonished that is true! I grew up in a negative environment. As a child, I was taught a poverty mindset and I’ve struggled to overcome that all of my life. When I started to understand the Kingdom of Heaven is within me, therefore love, abundance and all good things are within me, life got more interesting. If something is within you, what does that mean? I think it means it’s a part of who you are and gives you energy to create.

When I was starting to believe the power of thought, I decided to do an experiment to prove it works to myself. I started to direct my subconscious mind to feel abundant, and that my income is constantly increasing. When I started consistently tell myself that affirmation and feel abundant by appreciating and having gratitude for everything in my life, my income increased by nearly $ 30,000 over an 18 month time span! I didn’t do one single thing extra except believe my income is constantly increasing. If you look at the avenue the money came, you could explain it away logically, but that’s how life works. I can tell you that before I started saying the affirmation ” My income is constantly increasing” , I didn’t get a raise in my salary for 3 years. I find it interesting that at that time I had a belief that my income wasn’t what it should be, and of coarse it wasn’t. How you think and how you feel is essential to creating the situations in your life that you desire.

Everything in out life is truly working out for our good. We are direct extensions of God, Source, whatever you like to call her 🙂 If you are an awake person, welcome to my blog! If you are new to this way of thinking, I have a book suggestion. Read Rhonda Byrne’s book ” The Greatest Secret”. It’s a life changer.

Much love.
